Apprentice TV Show The Video Game

Already the king of the boardroom, Donald Trump could seize full control of the living room with an upcoming video game based on his hit reality TV show, "The Apprentice."
Legacy Interactive said on Monday it plans to turn the NBC reality TV program into a video game that allows gamers to assume the role of a hopeful contestant from audition to a boardroom face-off with Trump.
Similar to the show, the game will feature Trump advisorsGeorge Ross and Carolyn Kepcher as the contestants try to navigate through corporate challenges, boardroom conflicts as well as potential romances.
The game, slated for release in autumn 2006, will be available for Microsoft Corp.'s Xbox console, Sony Corp.'s PlayStation Portable handheld system and PCs.
A simpler PC version will be released this fall, Legacy said.
The show's strong following among men between the ages of 18 to 49 made it a logical choice for the video game format, said Legacy Interactive Chief Executive Ariella Lehrer.
Trump's ubiquitous presence will provide enough material for the Los Angeles-based game developers to simulate Trump, but there is one detail that Legacy paid extra attention to.
"It starts with the hair and we think we've gotten the hair right," said Lehrer.
