Star of Apprentice TV Show turns her attention to nonprofit world

Carolyn Kepcher, former top executive in the Trump Organization and star of NBC’s popular reality program The Apprentice, is turning her attention and highly-regarded management skills to the nonprofit world through an affiliation with Graham-Pelton Consulting, Inc., (www.grahampelton.com), a national leader in fundraising and nonprofit management.
“I am delighted to be affiliated with Graham-Pelton Consulting,” Ms. Kepcher said. “Nonprofit organizations are an enormous part of our economy. Whether for education, social service, environmental protection, the arts or health care, nonprofits provide core services that for-profit America does not. Graham-Pelton works with these vital organizations to make them stronger – to advance their missions through innovative and strategic approaches. Graham-Pelton shares my commitment to management excellence, and I believe that my skills and experience can benefit many of the firm’s clients.”
A key member of Donald Trump’s staff beginning in 1994, Ms. Kepcher most recently served as Chief Operating Officer and General Manager for Trump National Golf Clubs in New York and New Jersey. In 2004, Ms. Kepcher joined Mr. Trump as a judge on Trump’s reality television series The Apprentice. The success of that show inspired Kepcher to pen Carolyn 101: Business Lessons from “The Apprentice’s” Straight Shooter. Reviewers called the book “smart, direct, and precise.” Kepcher now offers that brand of counsel to corporate clients through her firm, Kepcher, Inc. (www.carolynkepcher.com). Since her departure from the Trump organization in July 2006, Kepcher also recently began a project with Microsoft, Inc. serving as part of an executive team evaluating the best small business idea in America.
“Carolyn Kepcher shares our passion and our clients’ passion for effective leadership,” Graham-Pelton’s Chief Executive Officer, Craig Leach, said. “Our clients are managing billions of philanthropic dollars in their operational budgets and endowments. To thrive today, non-profit leaders must be encouraged to adopt the best practices of the best-run businesses. Carolyn Kepcher’s tremendous performance as a leader in highly-competitive industries shows that she embraces these best practices and can inspire others to do the same. We see our affiliation with Carolyn as yet another opportunity to provide our clients with state-of-the-art counsel so they may properly steward their donors and advance their missions with confidence.”
Headquartered in Summit, New Jersey and with offices throughout the United States, Graham-Pelton Consulting works in all sectors of fundraising and nonprofit management. Offering clients strategic approaches and integrated services, the firm has assisted clients worldwide in garnering billions of dollars in philanthropic gifts.
