Apprentice TV Show winner invests in Montana

A winner of "The Apprentice" television show is making an investment in Montana.Kelly Perdew, his brother and father are developing a ranch and subdivision along the Sun River, west of Great Falls.
The Cascade County Commission approved preliminary building plans today.
Prior to the project's approval, concerns about nearby historical sites prompted a historical and archaeological inventory. County planner John Nerud says the concerns were related to a small buffalo jump and an irrigation canal that was built during the turn of the century.
A private consultant was hired, and the developers agreed to put an easement on the areas in question.
Nerud says one of the main draws of the subdivision is its access to nearby hunting and fishing areas.
Perdew won "The Apprentice" during its second season on N-B-C.
