Life on the outside. After a taste of life in federal prison, Martha Stewart will enjoy what TV considers reality. Donald Trump and mega-producer Mark Burnett, in conjunction with General Electric NBC, announced Wednesday that America's most tasteful convict will host The Apprentice: Martha Stewart. "Mark and I have always admired her," Trump said. "She's a very brave woman. She's built a multimillion-dollar empire. It was an easy decision. We think this will be an absolutely tremendous success." According to the joint statement, her show will shoot in either New York or Connecticut, which just happens to be the headquarters for the firm she founded, Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia . 16 to 18 contestants will battle for a one-year job with the company and $250,000 salary, according to the Associated Press. Since la Martha is barred from conducting business while in jail, Burnett underscored that his deal with the tastemaker was completed before she entered prison, although he's made monthly visits to her.
